Night of the Living Dead

A group of strangers seeks refuge inside an isolated farmhouse as mysterious flesh-eating ghouls overrun the countryside. As the undead close in, fear, distrust, and desperation threaten to destroy the survivors from within. A landmark of independent cinema, George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead introduced the modern zombie to popular culture and remains one of the most influential horror films ever made. Directed by George A. Romero. Written by George A. Romero and John A. Russo.
